2nd Engineer (2:2) — 72m, Med & Caribbean

2nd Engineer wanted for a 72m dual-programme yacht. 2:2 rotation, Chief and ETO also aboard. Day to day: watchkeeping when required, PMS (AMOS), planned maintenance on two MTU mains and three Kohler gensets, watermakers, AC plant, and the tender garage machinery. Winter is a five-week yard period in Barcelona with a genset overhaul in the scope. You need Y3 or Y2, STCW, ENG1 and at least two years as a 2nd or a strong 3rd ready to step up. HV certificate an advantage. The Chief has been aboard six years and is a genuinely good teacher, which is worth more than the extra few hundred a month somewhere else.
